Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage accurate Bills of Quantities (BQ) for various construction projects.
- Coordinate and facilitate the tender process, including preparing tender documentation and evaluating submissions.
- Draft, review, and administer complex contract documents to ensure legal and financial protection.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with cost estimates.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contractual disputes and project variations.
- Monitor project budgets and provide regular financial reporting to senior management.
- Ensure all project documentation adheres to internal standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a Quantity Surveying or Project Coordination role.
- Strong proficiency in construction cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of local construction laws, building codes, and contractual regulations in Malaysia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with high precision.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously within strict deadlines.
