Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor wafer‑level quality control plans and inspection criteria.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to eliminate recurrent defects.
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma techniques to improve process capability and yield.
  • Collaborate with process, equipment, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanroom standards, safety regulations, and industry quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Prepare detailed quality reports, present findings to management, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of quality and data‑driven problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a semiconductor or wafer fabrication environment.
  • Proven expertise in SPC, Six Sigma, and advanced statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP).
  • Strong knowledge of wafer inspection techniques, metrology equipment, and defect classification.
  • Experience with failure analysis methodologies (FMEA, fault tree analysis) and root‑cause investigation.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, ISO standards, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
