Responsibilities
- Manage cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for LTA construction projects
- Prepare and review detailed measurement and take-off quantities from drawings and specifications
- Conduct value engineering studies to optimize project costs and resource utilization
- Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts settlement
- Monitor project progress and provide cost control advice to project teams
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants on contractual and commercial matters
- Prepare cost reports and financial statements for senior management review
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for construction or infrastructure projects
- Prior experience working on LTA or government projects is highly advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office applications and quantity surveying software
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and measurement standards
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional qualification (e.g., QSM, RICS) is a plus
