Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and financial forecasts for M&E projects from concept through to completion
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessment for mechanical and electrical installations
- Prepare tender documents, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for M&E works
- Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting to stakeholders
- Handle variation orders, claims, and disputes with clients and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to negotiate contracts and settlements
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with focus on M&E projects
- Professional qualification from a recognized institution (e.g., AIQS, SISV) is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's construction industry, regulations, and contract forms (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC)
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office applications
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
