Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end tender preparation and submission processes for construction projects
- Provide cost planning, contract administration, and financial management expertise
- Conduct risk assessment and value engineering during tender evaluation
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Monitor project costs, prepare monthly reports, and manage budget variations
- Assist in drafting contracts and managing claims/variation processes
- Support transition to Assistant Contract Manager role for qualified candidates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with tender focus
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, MQSI) preferred
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and Singapore tender regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, WinQS) and MS Office
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in cost analysis
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
