Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Lead and perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define quality gates.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies, including test automation strategies and CI/CD integration.
- Participate in design reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions to ensure quality is embedded from inception.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing automated tests using frameworks/tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and performance testing tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test management tools.
