Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in the CVL
- Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Operate and manage specialized cardiovascular equipment and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document patient information, procedure details, and care plans accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and recovery instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards
- Support junior nursing staff and contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
- Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac care, ICU, or cardiovascular lab settings
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
