Responsibilities
- Lead transport planning and traffic engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and utilize sophisticated transport modeling tools to forecast demand and optimize network efficiency.
- Provide expert technical advisory for public and private sector transport infrastructure developments.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments (TIA) and feasibility studies to support complex urban projects.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil engineers, urban planners, and environmental consultants.
- Engage with stakeholders and clients to present data-backed strategic recommendations.
- Mentor junior consultants and oversee the quality of project deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in transport consulting or urban infrastructure planning.
- Proficiency in industry-standard transport modeling software (e.g., Vissim, Aimsun, Cube, or Visum).
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s transport regulations, LTA requirements, and urban planning standards.
- Proven track record of managing technical projects and delivering high-quality reports.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English.
- Professional engineering certification (e.g., P.E. or equivalent) is highly regarded.
