Responsibilities
- Acquire and cultivate new high-net-worth client relationships through proactive engagement and networking strategies.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of affluent clients, understanding their financial needs and providing bespoke wealth management solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis, risk profiling, and investment suitability assessments for clients.
- Develop and implement personalized financial plans covering investments, insurance, retirement planning, and estate planning.
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of wealth management products, including unit trusts, bonds, equities, and structured products.
- Monitor market trends and economic conditions to advise clients on strategic portfolio adjustments and rebalancing.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all client interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal specialists (e.g., product, credit, legal) to deliver holistic financial solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing financial advisory role, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
- Possession of relevant licenses and certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CMFAS Module 6A/6, 7 or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and wealth planning strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and grow existing portfolios effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a client-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
