What You'll Do
As a Service Banker, you will focus on delivering efficient, accurate, and friendly counter services. Your main responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and other over-the-counter transactions. You will also assist customers with account inquiries, update account information, and guide them on using digital banking channels. No daily sales targets mean you can concentrate purely on service quality.

Responsibilities
- Process a variety of over-the-counter banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashier's orders, and fund transfers
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to walk-in customers
- Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances, transaction histories, and basic product information
- Assist customers in completing forms and updating personal details (e.g., change of address, contact number)
- Promote and educate customers on the use of ATMs, online banking, and mobile apps
- Maintain accurate cash handling and balance teller cash at the start and end of each shift
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements during transactions
- Identify and escalate complex issues or discrepancies to the branch manager or supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'O' levels or equivalent
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is an advantage, but not required
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable with basic computer applications and digital banking tools
- Willingness to undergo and complete the paid training program
- Must be available to work on rotating shifts, including Saturdays
