Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily shipping activities to ensure all cargo movements align with scheduled timelines.
- Act as the primary liaison for Mandarin-speaking clients, overseas agents, and headquarters to facilitate smooth communication.
- Manage and verify comprehensive shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading, manifest data, and customs declarations.
- Monitor vessel schedules and port operations to anticipate and mitigate potential delays.
- Collaborate with local customs authorities and warehouse partners to ensure regulatory compliance for all shipments.
- Optimize logistics workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce overall costs.
- Provide real-time tracking updates and high-level support for client inquiries regarding shipment status.
- Prepare detailed operational reports and performance analytics for management review.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or equivalent.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping operations, freight forwarding, or maritime logistics.
- Solid understanding of export-import procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations in Indonesia.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics management systems (TMS/WMS).
