Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end shipping operations for air, sea, and land freight with special focus on oil & gas project cargo
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments
- Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs while maintaining service quality
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and prepare regular reports for management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Stay updated on industry regulations, customs requirements, and best practices in freight forwarding
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping operations, freight forwarding, or logistics
- Experience handling air, sea, and land shipments, particularly oil & gas project cargo
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is a plus
