China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Site Manager to oversee complex building projects in the Pasir Ris region. As a key player in our regional operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of construction activities, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical precision.
In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage on-site logistics, and act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, subcontractors, and our engineering departments. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site staff to ensure project milestones are met.
- Implement and enforce rigorous Work Health and Safety (WHS) protocols to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for project stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor site budgets, resources, and inventory to prevent cost overruns and material wastage.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks or site-specific challenges promptly to minimize project delays.
- Ensure all construction works comply with Singapore building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in site management for building or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations, site safety requirements, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Valid certification in relevant safety courses (e.g., BCSS, SSS) is highly desirable.
