Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end site operations for lift installation projects, ensuring adherence to technical blueprints and building codes.
- Manage and coordinate daily site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor site progress against project milestones and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress updates.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot technical issues during the installation phase.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in lift/escalator installation or heavy equipment construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Singapore construction safety regulations and lift installation standards.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and lead site teams in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate complex site stakeholder dynamics.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and project management software.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., BCSS, WSH certifications) is highly preferred.
