Get Builders Prospect Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book Holder) to join our team in Puncak Alam, Selangor. This is an exciting opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about enforcing site safety compliance and driving a strong safety culture across construction projects.
As a key member of our project team, you will ensure that all site activities adhere to the highest safety standards in accordance with Malaysian OSH regulations, DOSH requirements, and company policies. You will play a vital role in preventing workplace accidents, promoting safe work practices, and fostering an environment where safety is everyone's responsibility.
You will have the chance to work on dynamic construction sites, collaborate with project managers and contractors, and make a tangible impact on the wellbeing of our workforce.
Responsibilities
- Enforce site safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all site personnel.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive actions.
- Maintain and update safety documentation, including permits, incident logs, and safety plans.
- Ensure all workers wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safe work practices at all times.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies on safety-related matters.
- Drive a strong safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives and regular safety audits.
Qualifications
- Valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certification from DOSH/MOHR.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in construction site safety.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Ability to conduct effective safety training and toolbox talks.
- Proficient in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and report writing.
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.
- Registered with CIDB or other relevant authorities is an added advantage.
