Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day on-site operations and ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines
- Coordinate and direct workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment compliant with Malaysian regulations
- Monitor construction quality and conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets standards
- Maintain accurate records of progress, materials usage, and workforce attendance
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and communicate updates
- Manage material allocation and equipment utilization to optimize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements throughout construction phases
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; diploma in construction, civil engineering, or related field is advantageous
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations (DOSH, CIDB) and building codes
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and construction documentation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good command of Malay and English (verbal and written)
