Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise construction workers and subcontractors on-site to ensure productivity and adherence to project plans.
- Ensure all work is completed within specified deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct daily inspections to identify any issues or delays and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily progress reports and update project managers on milestones and challenges.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to avoid shortages or wastage.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to clarify instructions and resolve site queries.
- Train and guide workers on best practices and safe work methods.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Valid Green Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site in Melaka and travel to project locations as needed.
