Private Advertiser is seeking a disciplined and experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing construction team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This role is designed for a hands-on professional who can lead daily on-site operations, supervise skilled trades, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Supervisor will serve as the on-site point of contact for project managers, subcontractors, and clients, translating design drawings and specifications into actionable work plans, and coordinating teams across multiple trade disciplines.
Key responsibilities include monitoring progress against schedule, enforcing safety policies and site rules, conducting toolbox talks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant worksite. You will conduct regular site inspections, review workmanship, and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract requirements. You will manage site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and equipment usage, while effectively communicating with stakeholders to minimize delays and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities
- Lead on-site operations and supervise construction crews and subcontractors to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Enforce safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain a safe, organized worksite in compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor and inspect workmanship quality; perform site inspections and coordinate with engineers for required approvals.
- Manage site logistics including material deliveries, storage, inventory, and equipment utilization to avoid delays.
- Track progress against the project schedule; prepare daily and weekly progress reports for project management and clients.
- Resolve technical and logistical issues on site promptly; escalate critical matters to site management as needed.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, permit-to-work records, and daily diary entries; ensure documentation is accessible for audits.
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certificate in construction management, civil engineering, or related field; or equivalent site supervision experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of site supervision experience on construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple crews.
- Proficiency in basic office software and construction management tools; good reporting skills.
- Fluent in English; Malay language skills are a plus.
