Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts for complex software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and architects to identify and resolve critical bugs early in the SDLC.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality integration.
- Conduct deep-dive performance, security, and regression testing to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and innovative testing methodologies.
- Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and drive proactive preventive measures.
- Optimize and improve testing frameworks to increase coverage and reduce release cycle times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering or a comparable technical role.
- Proven expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong background in API testing, microservices architecture, and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decision-making at a consultant level.
