Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including General, Abdominal, OB/GYN, and Small Parts.
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic images and prepare detailed preliminary reports for Radiologists.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process, explaining procedures clearly to patients.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure adherence to safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control guidelines, and data privacy regulations.
  • Participate in the AHPC registration pathway and complete necessary Qualifying Exams (QE) as provided.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
  • Proven clinical experience in Sonography/Ultrasound.
  • Strong interest in obtaining AHPC registration and progressing to a Radiographer grade.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and clinical staff.
