Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing functions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions across various healthcare settings
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with professional standards
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and therapeutic techniques
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
- Stay updated with latest research, clinical guidelines, and best practices in speech pathology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) in Singapore
- Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience in speech therapy settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical reasoning abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Experience working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric clients preferred
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and assessment tools
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
