Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments using standardized diagnostic tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Provide direct therapy for articulation disorders, language delays, voice disorders, and dysphagia
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate clinical records, and prepare detailed reports
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies, home exercises, and swallowing techniques
- Participate in continuous professional development, workshops, and research initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Registration with Singapore Speech and Language Therapy Board (SSLTB) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in hospital or rehabilitation setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools (e.g., CELF, PLS-5, FEES) and therapeutic techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for complex cases
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
