Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for raw and packaging materials to achieve cost, cash, and quality targets.
- Conduct market analysis and supplier research to identify new sources, negotiate contracts, and secure best-in-class terms.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to align procurement activities with business needs and innovation projects.
- Drive cost reduction and cash flow improvement initiatives through strategic sourcing, consolidation, and value engineering.
- Monitor global commodity trends and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, spend analysis, and performance metrics to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in raw materials or packaging within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a high degree of initiative and ownership.
- Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, commodity markets, and procurement best practices.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus but not required.
