We are a rapidly expanding Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a seasoned and strategic Sr. Business Development Manager to establish and lead our offshore sales function based in the Philippines. In this critical role, you will be responsible for building a high-performance sales team and driving revenue growth by selling our comprehensive suite of managed IT services to businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
As the Sr. Business Development Manager, you will develop and execute a robust sales strategy, identify new market opportunities, and cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers. This is a unique chance to shape the sales organization from the ground up, directly impacting our international expansion and market presence. You will work closely with executive leadership to define sales goals, optimize processes, and ensure consistent achievement of targets.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement a full-cycle sales process tailored to the AU and NZ markets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of business development representatives and account executives.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across SME and enterprise segments.
- Develop compelling value propositions and sales collateral for managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate qualified leads and optimize conversion rates through campaigns and events.
- Monitor sales metrics, forecast performance, and provide regular reports to the executive team.
- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive business development or sales experience in the MSP, IT services, or technology solutions sector.
- Proven track record of selling to Australian and/or New Zealand markets, with a network of relevant contacts.
- Experience in building, leading, and motivating remote sales teams, preferably within an offshore setup.
- In-depth understanding of managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT outsourcing trends.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
