Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition accurately
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards at all times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) issued by the Nursing Board Malaysia
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in nursing procedures and patient care practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and professional integrity
