Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of practice.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and meticulously evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, manage IV lines, and execute prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
- Closely monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and clinical progress, promptly reporting any significant changes to the supervising physician.
- Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
- Provide essential health education, emotional support, and guidance to patients and their families, empowering them in their care journey.
- Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines, patient safety protocols, and the legal/ethical standards mandated by the Singapore Nursing Board.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Staff Nurse (SN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Possess a recognized Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid Practising Certificate and current BCLS/AED certification are mandatory requirements.
- Prior experience in Homecare, Clinical Research, Inpatient Ward, or ICU settings is highly advantageous.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work independently in a structured manner as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the healthcare setting.
