You will be part of a professional team performing essential diagnostic procedures, including general X-rays, bone mineral density (BMD) scans, mammograms, and health assessments. Responsibilities
- Perform health screening procedures, including general X-ray, BMD, and mammogram imaging.
- Conduct venipuncture and cannulation for blood samples and IV access.
- Assess patient health status and obtain medical histories prior to screening.
- Provide patient education on screening procedures and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Sterilize and maintain equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Respond to medical emergencies during screening sessions.
Qualifications
- Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board as a Registered Nurse.
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in health screening, radiology, or a similar setting.
- Proficient in cannulation and blood taking techniques.
- Familiarity with general X-ray, BMD, and mammogram procedures is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.
