Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products as prescribed by the nephrologist.
  • Assess vascular access sites to detect complications such as infection or infiltration and initiate corrective actions.
  • Provide patient education regarding renal diets, fluid restrictions, and post-dialysis self-care management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient encounters.
  • Collaborate with the renal care team to adjust treatment plans based on patient laboratory results and clinical assessment.

Qualifications

  • Current Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration with a valid Practicing Certificate.
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience; renal or dialysis experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in cannulation and dialysis machine operation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patients experiencing chronic illness.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the unit.
