We are seeking a motivated Supervisor to oversee the Dipping line at our Sepang, Selangor facility. In this role, you’ll be accountable for supervising a team, ensuring safe operations, maintaining product quality, and achieving daily production targets on time and within specifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, defect-free products to our customers worldwide.
As a Dipping supervisor, you will coordinate continuous production on the dipping lines, monitor process parameters, and partner with QA and maintenance to resolve issues quickly. You will interpret technical specifications, enforce standard operating procedures, and implement corrective actions when defects are detected. Your leadership will drive a culture of safety, 5S housekeeping, and lean productivity, helping Hartalega deliver consistent quality for customers worldwide.
What you will do includes overseeing daily dipping operations, reviewing shift targets and production plans, leading a team of operators, conducting on-the-job training, performing quality checks and line audits, ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and downtime. You will also support shift handovers, generate clear performance reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize output without compromising safety.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily dipping operations to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor process parameters, perform quality checks, and enforce SOPs
- Train, coach, and develop dipping line operators; enforce safety rules
- Troubleshoot line issues with maintenance and QA; implement corrective actions
- Ensure housekeeping, 5S, and safety compliance in the dipping area
- Assist in shift planning, handovers, and production reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and waste
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- 2-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in dipped product production
- Familiarity with dipping processes, latex coagulation steps, and QA/QC methods
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Solid problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and root cause analysis abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused factory environment (rotating shifts)
- Proficient in basic computer skills and ERP/MES familiarity; ability to read technical drawings
- Good communication in English; Malay is a plus
