Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for all production equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, ensuring high performance and skill development.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment failures promptly.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to avoid stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare maintenance reports and present performance metrics to management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, automation systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and data analysis.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
