Responsibilities
- Oversee daily supply chain operations including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution to ensure seamless flow of materials and finished goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain costs, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage and evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and foster strong vendor partnerships to secure best-in-class materials and services.
- Lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and stock replenishment processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track supply chain performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and production teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or associate manager role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement, inventory, and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, drive process improvements, and manage change.
- Knowledge of Philippine customs regulations, import/export procedures, and local logistics is an advantage.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on cost optimization, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
