Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data integrity
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to optimize stock replenishment
- Analyse inventory trends and generate reports to support decision-making and cost reduction
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and safety standards
- Resolve discrepancies and investigate root causes of inventory variances
- Assist in system enhancements and ERP-related inventory management initiatives
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of lean inventory practices and FIFO methodologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics industry is an advantage
