Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive production and supply schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations, ensuring optimal inventory turnover.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure the timely arrival and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with company quality standards and international trade regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve supply chain disruptions promptly.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain KPIs, demand forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in supply chain planning or inventory management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data to drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and Malay.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic production environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, logistics operations, and supply chain best practices.
