Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Support the quality assurance team in conducting inspections, testing, and documentation of product quality.
- Collaborate with the Japanese Manager to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards and quality requirements.
- Prepare and analyze reports on supply chain metrics and quality indicators.
- Coordinate with internal departments to streamline processes and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and quality control activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of Japanese business culture is a plus but not required.
