Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable server infrastructure and network systems to ensure maximum uptime.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate risks.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and incident response planning to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor system performance and security logs to detect and neutralize potential threats in real-time.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding security best practices and system updates.
- Ensure full compliance with local data protection regulations and international security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration and information security roles.
- Solid experience with Linux/Windows server administration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA/CCNP are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable security policies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for security improvements to non-technical management.
