Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze system requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions and system enhancements to support clinical and administrative operations.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for hospital information systems.
- Manage system integrations, data migrations, and API connectivity between various healthcare software platforms.
- Perform regular system audits, security updates, and performance tuning to ensure 99.9% system availability.
- Document technical workflows, user manuals, and system architecture for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Assist in the procurement process for new IT infrastructure and software development tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Software Developer, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Java, or Python.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems (MSSQL/Oracle).
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems is a significant advantage.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
