Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
- Monitor system infrastructure, analyze performance metrics, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and security breaches
- Configure and manage network systems, including firewalls, routers, and switches to maintain seamless connectivity
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide timely resolutions, and document all system changes and configurations
- Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices for data protection and system integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Linux systems, or Unix-based environments
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Familiarity with cloud computing services and infrastructure management is highly advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments
