Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer Windows and Linux environments, including user account management, patching, and security compliance.
- Provide Tierâ2 technical support to endâusers, resolving incidents and service requests via ticketing systems.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and deployment of new applications.
- Perform routine backups, disaster recovery testing, and data integrity verification.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to enforce policies and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Participate in onâcall rotation and afterâhours support as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2â3 years of handsâon experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) and remote desktop tools.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Knowledge of backup solutions, virtualization (VMware/HyperâV), and storage technologies.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a customerâservice oriented mindset.
