Responsibilities
- Monitor and record tank levels, temperatures, and pressures daily to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Conduct routine visual and physical inspections of storage tanks and piping systems to identify potential leaks or structural issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding hazardous materials handling.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of tankers, ensuring proper documentation and connection safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the perimeter of the tank farm and storage yards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the immediate supervisor or maintenance team promptly.
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety training sessions to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or relevant vocational training in manufacturing or engineering.
- Valid STP (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) certificate is an added advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of basic industrial safety regulations and PPE usage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in chemical handling or logistics is a plus.
