Job Description

WGT Group is urgently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our facilities management team. This is a contract role for 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility of renewal, based in the heart of Singapore's financial district at Raffles Place.

As the Team Lead, you will oversee daily facility operations, coordinate maintenance activities, manage a team of technicians and contractors, and ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for building occupants. You will play a critical role in enhancing operational performance, driving cost efficiencies, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

We are looking for a proactive leader with a strong background in facilities management, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. If you are ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Contract duration: 6 months to 1 year, renewable. Immediate start preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of facilities maintenance staff and external contractors
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
  • Manage facilities budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and building codes
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely repairs and maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Prepare reports on facility performance, incident management, and team productivity for management review
  • Respond to emergency situations and ensure minimal disruption to operations

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, BMS) and maintenance best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
  • Familiarity with Singapore’s workplace safety and health regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software (e.g., CMMS)
