Join ByteDance's Global Technology Audit team as a pivotal leader shaping risk governance across our technology ecosystem. As the Technology Internal Audit Lead, you'll provide independent assurance and evaluate risk management frameworks for our global infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and data privacy initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead global technology audits including infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT governance frameworks
- Design and execute risk-based audit plans aligned with industry standards (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001)
- Identify control gaps, evaluate remediation effectiveness, and recommend strategic improvements
- Partner with engineering teams to assess security posture of emerging technologies (AI, cloud, IoT)
- Manage audit engagements across APAC, EMEA, and Americas regions with diverse stakeholder groups
- Develop audit methodologies leveraging data analytics tools for enhanced risk assessment
- Present findings to executive leadership and audit committees with actionable insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field; MBA/CIA/CISA/CISM preferred
- 10+ years in internal audit, IT audit, or technology risk management with 5+ years in leadership
- Deep expertise in technology audit frameworks and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2)
- Proven experience managing global audit teams and complex cross-functional projects
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, and cybersecurity practices
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical risks into business impacts
- Certification in audit methodologies (e.g., IDEA, ACL) and data analytics tools
