Responsibilities
- Rotate across core departments to acquire endâtoâend knowledge of central bank functions.
- Conduct research and data analysis on macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and regulatory developments.
- Support the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of monetary and financial policies.
- Prepare highâquality reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Engage with crossâfunctional teams to contribute to strategic initiatives and innovation projects.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programmes.
- Contribute to risk assessment and compliance monitoring activities.
- Represent Bank Negara Malaysia at industry forums and public outreach events.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problemâsolving skills with a keen interest in macroeconomic and financial issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, teamwork, and adaptability in a fastâpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is a plus.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit (if applicable).
