Newcon Builders Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and certified Tower Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team in the North Region of Singapore. As a key player on our job sites, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating tower cranes to lift and move heavy materials, equipment, and structural components. This role is vital to the success of our high-rise residential and commercial projects.

You will work closely with site supervisors, riggers, and signalmen to ensure every lift is executed according to strict safety protocols and project timelines.

Responsibilities
- Operate tower cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials, tools, and equipment on construction sites
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure crane safety and functionality
- Coordinate with riggers and signalmen to ensure safe and accurate load handling using hand signals and radio communication
- Adhere strictly to all workplace safety regulations, including safe lifting procedures and load capacity limits
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and relocation of tower cranes as required by project phases
- Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, including hours of use, load weights, and any incidents
- Work with PPVC components, ensuring precise placement and alignment of prefabricated modules
- Report any mechanical issues, safety hazards, or near misses to the site supervisor immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Singapore Tower Crane Operator License (issued by MOM or BCA)
- Possession of PPVC (Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction) certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a tower crane operator in construction projects
- Strong understanding of load charts, slinging techniques, and crane stability principles
- Good communication skills in English and able to follow hand signals and radio instructions
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety with a clean safety record
- Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
