The Program
Our intensive 18-month structured training program is meticulously designed to equip you with the operational expertise and leadership acumen required to excel in the airfreight industry. You will undergo comprehensive rotations across all key functions of the cargo hub, including freight handling, dangerous goods regulations, documentation, warehouse management systems (WMS), and team supervision. You will be mentored by experienced Hub Leads and exposed to real-world operational challenges, preparing you for a future leadership role.
Your Impact
As a Trainee Air Hub Lead, you will directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of Singapore's air cargo supply chain. You will learn to lead a team of dedicated hub agents, ensuring that every shipment is handled safely, securely, punctually, and in full compliance with aviation safety standards. By optimizing workflows and maintaining the highest operational standards, you will play a vital part in upholding the SATS promise of service excellence and operational integrity.

Responsibilities
- Undergo a structured 18-month training program covering airfreight handling, operations management, and leadership skills.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of Hub Agents to ensure efficient cargo processing and timely flight connectivity.
- Monitor compliance with safety, security (IATA/ICAO), and quality standards at all times.
- Manage resource allocation including manpower, equipment, and warehouse space to meet operational demands.
- Resolve operational discrepancies, delays, or service failures promptly and professionally.
- Prepare daily operational reports and conduct shift briefings to align team objectives.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous operational excellence.
- Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo flow.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong leadership potential and a genuine passion for managing people and operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment with rotating shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Physically fit to work in a warehouse and airside environment.
- Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are preferred due to joining bonus eligibility and role requirements.
