Responsibilities
- Shadow senior ramp supervisors to understand end-to-end airside operations, including loading, unloading, and pushback procedures.
- Assist in the coordination of ground support equipment and personnel to ensure aircraft turnaround targets are met.
- Monitor safety protocols and compliance measures during ground handling activities to ensure zero-incident operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including flight deck crew, cargo handlers, and air traffic control support.
- Develop proficiency in using proprietary SATS logistics software to track baggage and cargo movement.
- Prepare operational reports and participate in shift briefings to ensure seamless communication across the team.
- Identify process bottlenecks and assist in implementing improvement strategies to optimize airside efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or a related field; or relevant operational experience.
- Strong leadership potential with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license (required for airside vehicle operation).
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Highly safety-conscious with a disciplined approach to operational procedures.
