Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily transport schedules and shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to confirm pickups, deliveries, and ETAs
- Track shipments using the transportation management system and update statuses in real time
- Maintain accurate transport documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery notes
- Optimize routes and load planning to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Resolve transport issues such as delays, damages, or missing paperwork with proactive problem solving
- Generate operational reports and share insights with management to support continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics or transport operations
- Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic logistics software or a TMS/ERP system
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of local transport regulations and safety standards
- Fluent in English; additional local language is a plus
