Walter Mart is seeking a detail‑oriented Treasury Assistant to support the Business Center Services team in Balanga City, Bataan. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash receipts and disbursements processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate cash records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of cash forecasts and liquidity monitoring.
- Manage petty cash funds and ensure proper disbursement procedures.
- Support foreign exchange transactions and maintain related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in internal and external audit preparations by providing supporting schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures, banking operations, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Understanding of basic treasury concepts such as cash positioning, forecasting, and risk management.
