Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage van-based sales routes across Klang/Port Klang to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local retailers, convenience stores, and outlets.
  • Promote and sell tobacco and FMCG products, execute promotions, and upsell where appropriate.
  • Merchandise products, ensure optimal shelf placement, and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Process orders, coordinate with warehouse for stock availability, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Collect payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate sales records and route reports.
  • Monitor competition and market feedback; share insights with the sales team to enhance strategy.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of van sales or field sales experience, preferably in FMCG or tobacco sectors.
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van and perform basic vehicle checks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time and route planning effectively.
  • Basic numerical and cash-handling skills; proficient in using mobile devices or POS systems.
