Join Synchrony as a VP, Business Reporting and Analysis and lead the strategic transformation of our Source-to-Pay (S2P) ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will set the vision for Reporting, Analytics, and Data Management, driving initiatives that significantly enhance customer experience and eliminate manual inefficiencies. You will be responsible for building a world-class analytics team that leverages data to uncover actionable insights and fuel business growth.
As a key leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement advanced reporting solutions that provide real-time visibility into financial performance. Your expertise will ensure data integrity, drive process automation, and establish Synchrony as a leader in data-driven decision-making within the fintech and financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for S2P Reporting, Analytics, and Data Management to support organizational objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts and data scientists to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive the transformation of legacy reporting systems into agile, automated, and scalable data platforms.
- Partner with business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards that drive operational excellence.
- Establish robust data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Reduce manual effort and processing time by implementing advanced analytics and process automation tools.
- Communicate complex data insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, procure-to-pay systems, and financial reporting frameworks.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, SAP, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale IT projects and lead digital transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
