Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve delivery timelines and reduce operational costs.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and system updates.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure efficient route planning and on-time deliveries.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to foster a culture of safety and productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and technology upgrades to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
